SCA3P - Essential oils in Provence
SCA3P Born in 1979 from the will of seven farmers of Haute-Provence to break free from the domination of traders and brokers, the Agricultural Cooperative Society of Perfume Plants of Provence (SCA3P) now has 206 members producing essential oils, spread over the Valensole, Albion and Quercy plateaus.
SCA3P has 10,000 hectares of land belonging to its members, including 5 to 6,000 hectares of perfume plants.
It markets 400 tons of essential oils a year worldwide which are collected in two subdivisions in Simiane-la-Rotonde and Puimoisson.
The essential oils produced by the members of the cooperative are pure, 100 % natural, without additives or blends, and some are organic.
